Review by hotel critic
Staying at Malmaison was a pleasant surprise for my business trip. The hotel struck a good balance between professionalism and comfort, making it an ideal base for remote work. The high-speed Wi-Fi was reliable, allowing me to jump on important calls without interruption. I also appreciated the modern meeting spaces, which were visually impressive and equipped with cutting-edge tech. Beyond the work aspects, the atmosphere was relaxed. I found it easy to unwind after a day of meetings, partly thanks to the attentive service. Maria at the front desk was particularly helpful, offering restaurant suggestions that made my evenings enjoyable. Rudolf, the valet, shared intriguing tidbits about Oxford’s history, adding a local touch to my visits. The hotel’s design is quite stunning, creating an inviting ambiance. Although my room was decent in size, the spacious bathroom stood out, which was a nice perk. Don’t overlook the complimentary welcome drinks—a thoughtful touch after hours of travel.
